Freebrough students compete in netball tournament

On Sunday 22 September 2019 Abbie, Millie, Emily and Gracie took part in a Netball tournament, at Ingleby Manor, playing for Cleveland Classics.

The girls played six games winning four out of six. In their first match they played Shooting Stars, winning 12-1. Their second match was against Durham, winning 7-5. For their third match the girls played their own Under 13s team, winning that match. In their fourth match they played Wildcats, missing out by one goal. The girls then won against Thirsk, scoring 16-1.

The girls got through to the finals, fighting for first and second place, unfortunately losing 11-7. Overall the girls came second, going home with a smile on their faces.
