We are looking forward to welcoming back all of our students. Please click here for all ‘Back to School in September’ information.

With regards to the first day back

We have decided to phase students back over a series of days. This is important to allow students to become accustomed to the new systems and routines after an extended period away from our school building:

On Wednesday 2nd September New Year 7 and New Year 11 students starts school
(and are now back full time)
On Thursday 3rd September New Year 8 and New Year 10 students starts school
(and are now back full time)
On Friday 4th September New Year 9 students starts school
(and are now back full time)

On their first day, students must access the school according to their newly defined entry point. The senior leadership team and other teachers will then be on hand to help organise students so that they know where to go and what to do.

Learning Managers

As with any year, students have a dedicated Learning Manager. This person should be a primary point of contact for all students and parents. From September, the Learning Managers are:

Year Group Learning Manager Email Address
Year 7 Miss M Clare [email protected]
Year 8 and 9 Miss S Morgan [email protected]
Year 10 Mr C Williams [email protected]
Year 11 Mrs N Lawson [email protected]
Inclusion Coordinator Mrs J Husband [email protected]

Freebrough Academy is a member of the Northern Education Trust.
We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.
