Scale: SCP 23 – 25 (Subject to job evaluation)
Salary: £27,741 – £29,577 (FTE, Salary to be pro rata)
Contract: Fixed Term Contract (2 years)

Northern Education Trust, Freebrough Academy wish to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic individual to:

  • Work as part of the Deep Support Team to promote learning and welfare of ASD students supported by the Hub
  • Work under the direction of the Assistant Principal in supporting the students with ASD who access the Hub.
  • Work with students accessing support from the Hub, providing individual assistance, developing and implementing action plans, to maximise achievement.
  • Develop and provide programmes of support to enable students in the Hub to achieve their full potential and work towards attendance to 90% of their mainstream lessons.
  • Be part of the review and goal setting process with all stakeholders.
  • Build and develop relationships with staff at all levels.
  • Build and develop effective relationships with parents/carers of students with a Hub placement.
  • Make decisions as to when and how duties are to be carried out, and responding independently to unanticipated problems and situations.
